RSVI (Rehabilitation Society of the Visually Impaired) is a Lucknow based 20-year old NGO working in the following areas for rehabilitation of the visually impaired (Blind): Production & Distribution Centre of Accessible Books (Braille, E-Text, Digital Audio); Trainings (Diploma in Special Education, Computer, Braille, Competition, Mobility, Daily Living Skills, Vocational etc.); Distribution of Educational, Recreational and Other Aids & Appliances; Awareness & Technical Workshops; Software & Hardware Development; Counselling; Rail Concessions, Advocacy & Legal Services; Workshops & Seminars related to Technology for VI (Blind) & Disability Sector etc. Special training programmes designed for overall upliftment of visually impaired (for both late blind and by birth blind, from age 5 to 70) as “Sankalp-Mai” & “Udaan”.
